Q: Where do I send my CO2 controller for calibration?

The first thing is to determine which series you are currently using. The photos attached indicate these units are of the Series 1, 2 & 3.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide calibration service for these units due to changes made to the internal software of the sensor.

If you hold a unit similar to the Series 2 that has a dark plastic enclosure. These are able to be calibrated. Please contact us by email, or the toll free number provided to get details of how to get your unit to us.

The newest Series 4 Matador monitors are self calibrating in the field. Please view the enclosed instructions for the procedure or find the operating instructions here.

Q: My Matador unit will not work.
Check the power outlet to verify there is 120 Volts at that outlet.

There may have been a surge in the electrical system, or the unit may have inadvertently plugged into a 220 Volt outlet.

Either case, return the unit to your local retailer to have sent to our facility, or contact us directly on how to get your unit back to us for inspection and repair.

Q: My Matador unit will not relay the power thru the cord to the CO2 generator.
Verify that you have the switch in the “on” position on the gas valve located in the CO2 generator.

Verify that the 24 Volt transformer which powers the CO2 generator is in working order.

Verify that the photocell on the left side on the Matador monitor has a clear unobstructed view of the light.

If these bring no results, please call our toll free number to help troubleshoot the issue.

Q: Can I purchase a new Matador monitor/controller direct?
No. We prefer that purchases be made at any of the retailers/dealers that sell our product.

Q: The keypad, or photocell, or LCD do not work. Can I have it repaired?
